The central part of Missouri is characterized by Midwestern hospitality and a wide variety of attractions. Home to the city of Columbia and the University of Missouri campus, this part of the state features cultural and historic sites that appeal to range of travellers. The True/False Film Festival and Twilight Festivals are but two of the annual events in Columbia that draw visitors to Central Missouri every year.
